Honey I’m home… and the reality of what was Paris Fashion Week SS 2018 is slowly fading, although thankfully some memories will last forever.  Take for instance that moment when I walked into the Céline show on my birthday into what looked like a giant marshmallow, how did Phoebe Philo know that marshmallows are my favourite treat?   Or the moment when I found out that Paris’ most insta-worthy cafe was just around the corner from my hotel .. equally both major highlights from the season gone by no?

It’s hard to believe that another season is done and dusted and just as hard to believe that this is my seventh season in a row covering PFW.  It’s a part of history that I always love to share my diary from Paris with highlights from the shows but this season I thought I’d share with you something a little bit different with you, a more behind the scenes version of what I was really up to.  A sneaky trip to Versailles to visit the home of Marie Antoinette, some not-so casual lounging around between shows and meetings, and some one-on-one bonding time with my ride for the week courtesy of my super chic friends at Maserati.

Funnily enough to the untrained eye a car may simply seem like a vehicle to get you from A to B, but to the modern day femme fatale, a vehicle such as this is much much more.  Let me explain .. mobile change room on wheels = tick, unofficial boardroom for the time poor = tick, impromptu makeup station = tick, larger than life aesthetically pleasing sidekick = tick .. what more could a girl ask for.

Alas with the addition of my dream team joining me on the ground, that dreamy Parisian weather, and a fridge stocked with chocolate croissant’s, this was one of my favourite seasons yet, let’s hope that next season is just as good..I guess we can only wait and see.. xx

…..

A very special thank you to Maserati Australia for my lovely wheels the QuattroPorte on the ground and to our drivers John-Christophe and Gregory especially for the baguettes .. x
