Unashamedly entitled the ‘cactus lady‘ by those who know me best, a space like this hidden away in Paris is one of which, I previously assumed, only dreams were made of.
Located on the 9th arrondissement, also known as the ‘Nouvelle Athenes’, lies the incredible La Villa Rose by Séverine Redon. Founder of Artdicted agency and co-founder of ‘Le Coeur’ gallery space, Redon has curated the ultimate green garden escape amongst an 1850s mansion. The space is predominately available for intimate events, including cocktail parties, dinners, showrooms and presentations, not to mention a photographers dream discovery (yes please).
Although tucked away in Paris, this place intelligently inspires a sense of Italian futurism, in addition to being home to those floral sculptures made of polished steel, along with finely selected furniture and art that ideally contrasts the vast overgrowing greenery. All factors creating the ultimate composition of contemporary and classic references.
Next time I’m in need of a winter-garden escape in Paris, I think I’ll know where I’ll be heading, after all, I have a cactus or two to add to the collection.. xx
