Evolution is imminent and it doesn’t just take Charles Darwin to identify the theory. In 2013 creative genius Stuart Vevers left his post with Loewe to join the team at Coach as Executive Creative Director and visionary combined. The new direction Coach, focusing on resetting the brand as not just one of the world’s most respected leather houses, but as the new go-to for the next generation. With the likes of Binx Walton being photographed by Steven Meisel dressed in leather bomber jackets and slides there’s something contemporary and refined and we all want a piece of the action.
So with much excitement I can announce that I’ve teamed up with Coach to interpret my own version of streetwise sophistication with a bit of a downtown vibe. Thanks to the Coach ‘Swagger’ bag this chick’s been able to hit up Parisian appointments with an iPad and SLR in toe without anyone blinking an eye, stash an abundance of sore feet medical supplies (like a well trained paramedic), and still look professional enough to have at least one or 2 editors ask .. ‘where did you get that bag?’. So thank you Coach and thank you Stuart, there’s nothing like helping a modern girl manage all her excess baggage ..
