Lady Luck

Just the right amound of metal. Daria Werbowy for Fashion Magazine

High Line

The crop top is such a prickly little sucker, get it wrong and you run the risk of being mistaken for a washed up cheer-leader sans the wash-board abs or even worse a member of “Kath & Kym”. The secret I’ve found is all in the height of the skirt/pants that you choose to tie it in with, adding a whole new meaning to dressing High-Low .. ha! xx

On Point

I don’t know if it’s because I’m off to Paris soon or whether I’m just seeking comfort but pointed flats are on my radar right now, along with a bunch of other little goodies as follows..

Second Nature

With the ironically timed David Attenborough documentary running in the background I write this post about the beginning of spring. It seems as though it’s not just the Himalayan snow leopard that get excited about spring. Crisp white shirts and tailored shorts are high on my agenda right now..I guess some leopards never change their spots.. xx

College Grunge

During a crazy month of travel it’s nice to be home..there’s nothing like a bit of down time right? Since we’re talking about heading back to our roots and being a bit of a 90’s child I was bred on a healthy diet of Nirvana and skinny jeans. The torn and ripped fringes of grunge have been making a come back recently and what better way to reintroduce them into your daily outfits than with a dash of plaid .. mm you can almost smell the Teen Spirit.. xx

Geometric Progression

If you’re anything like me the suggestion of geometric patterns brings back flooding memories of high school algebra. That nauesiating feeling of being totally unprepared for a period one maths exam only compounded by the stress of cramming as much information into my head as possible while standing on a crowded school bus.. hence the foray into a career of art and fashion. Finally grids and geometrics have become exciting again since storming 2013 runways, never have I been so excited about lineal details.. I’m guessing if you’re out there Mr Edwards you may be feeling a little proud.. xx

Before Long

The architectural asymmetric skirt .. seriously one of the best fashion inventions since velcro and thankfully a LOT more exciting. Since from my recollection Dion Lee was the advocator of this much coveted style it’s only appropriate to represent asymmetry with one of his beautiful creations and excitingly away the next genius development .. we can all stay tuned .. xx

Model Citizen

I’m very excited to share with you the latest Oracle Fox Editorial. There’s nothing like getting your hands dirty and putting together your own shoot without any restrictions! After conceptualising and art directing the shoot I teamed up with my photographer friend Nat Lanyon to style this piece just for you guys. Thanks to Nat’s excellent eye, Caroline our super babe model and assistant Bella Rose this is the end result.. we hope that you enjoy.. xx

Second Skin

We’ve talked about leather before but how can deny it’s one of those things that never grows old. Leather jackets are particularly one of things that every girl should own .. as well as a motorbike or preferably a hot boyfriend that owns a motorbike.. I’m sure that you’d agree.. xx

Black Roses

Amongst gaining the ability of learning how to navigate to the front of the snake pit and other sordid skills I once dated the lead guitarist of a punk band who thankfully aided me in my obsession with all things black and leathery. It does seem to be a re-occuring pattern in my ensembles but how can you go wrong right? The serious fact is that you can never have to much black..

The Parisian

It might have something to do with all of the baguettes I’ve been devouring lately or otherwise an upcoming trip I have planned to Paris (well actually it’s probably more about the baguettes) but I can’t keep the French off my mind. Either way I’m sure it’s not a bad thing that is of course unless my pants start getting too tight but then I can always buy more pairs in Paris..and so the count down begins ..
