I don’t know about you but I can’t get enough of ATG right now, those neoprene pieces are not just saved for the beach, under a white tank or even over the top they’re just so wearable..

Pillowy soft quilted leather skirts, jackets and bags, quilted pieces everywhere are ruling my world..
Were you scarred from watching Jaws at a primary school sleep over? I was. I think it was grade 4 and after waaayyy too much chocolate and pizza and an ad lib home theatre of cushions and girls it was pretty much solidified that I could never enter a swimming pool, bathtub, lake or ocean again. The best place to face these smiling assassins is behind 6 inches of reinforced glass. While I was in Tokyo Nat and I hit the Sealife aquarium, I know it sounds nerdy but it was so much fun.. followed by a lunch of flake..err fish and chips..
Give me anything made of Neoprene and I’m a fan. Obviously this stems from the fact that all winter I’m getting around in head to toe neoprene on the weekends, no I’m not a total weirdo it’s just that the water gets so damn cold. Balenciaga somehow managed to take neoprene to whole new level and I jumped on the escalator. Heading out for the night with the incredible Vogue Girl Japan Director Sayumi Gunji and my amazing project co-ordinator Mutsuko could be no better time to drag this little baby out of the closet .. time to rock’n’roll…
Heading for the weekend? Got a long drive home? Sharing some grid inspired goodness if you’re stuck in gridlock and on your phone..
In a former life I”m sure that I was a boy. Don’t get me wrong I love my X chromosomes but I did spend most of my childhood at the BMX track with best friends James, Chad and Geoff. I think this has something to do with the fact that I just don’t ever really buy skirts unless they’re speaking to my guy side. With an obsession towards quilting, leather and hardware at the moment this skirt didn’t just speak it screamed. Worn with a ode to Pheobe tee and the trusty bad hair day leather cap can make any tomboy look somewhat like a lady..
I’ve discovered my own personal secret to dressing while travelling, although I’m afraid upon closer inspection it may seem more like laziness. Is there such a thing as too much leather? I have a friend of mine who I’m sure would say no. Buttery soft and no dry cleaning required, the most convenient option for messy little punks on the go..
Every corner in Tokyo is amazing, well in my opinion anyway, but I have to say Shibuya is something else. On one street corner I came across this little restaurant, where else in the world can you make your menu selections based on life sized plasticine models? Beer included! Certainly makes the decisions for this Libran a whole lot easier …
I’m kind of in love with George Costanza. Yep I know, it’s probably a bit unexpected but I’m just putting it out there. Well George there’s no need to lose it anymore and scream..’ serenity now!’ have I found the place for you. On a day that I had no idea was a public holiday in a city lived in by millions I headed out to the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa. Amongst a sea of school kids, tourists and beautifully dressed local Japanese women there’s something peaceful and magic in the air. Next time you’re having a bad and you’re feeling the pressure like Georgie boy this is the place to be..

Konichiwa! Oh man, how did I get to this stage of my life without ever visiting Japan, the shopping is off the charts! Don’t come here with your man unless he doesn’t mind a bit of retail therapy himself or is happy to follow you around endlessly like a lost puppy in a shopping mall. Thanks to my amazing guide Mutsuko I’ve committed some serious shopping sins. First up .. ‘Celine’ (I’m blaming you) but hey you only live once..right?!
Why hello there, so maybe you’ve been wondering where I’ve been? Today I spent my first day in Japan and I think I’m in love. I’ll be keeping you updated on some cool adventures so stayed tuned… xx
