Of the many highlights from our trip to Paris earlier in the year for the 2017 Fall Winter shows, being in the bleachers for the Chanel show is something I won’t ever forget. As we sat in The Grande Palais in the presence of the ‘Gabrielle Chanel Agence Spatiale’ rocket, we knew we were about to witness something special from the vantage point of Chanel ground control. While there were many elements to catch the eye… Space ships, silver suits and metallic stoles to name a few, but yours truly became more than a little fixated on certain boots of the glittery kind.
Fast forward to the following season and there’s no way I wasn’t getting my paws on a pair of these perfect lunar boots to wear whilst in Paris. While it’s easy to think that such a show-stopping accessory lends itself to an equally spectacular outfit to accompany, I think these beauties are best paired with something a little more on the casual side – and as you know, I’ve never met a denim look I didn’t like.
So thank you to the beautiful Chanel Australia team for letting this girl put her best foot forward. When you have a boot as spectacular as these Chanel futuristic dreams, we can all agree they were made for walking.. x
