I remember having a conversation 12 months ago with one of my best friends in regards to our complete disinterest in cropped flares. ‘I don’t get it’ she said to me and I return commented ‘I don’t think I’ll ever go there, I just don’t see myself pulling it off”, well .. as they say, you should never say never. Twelve months later and I own 4 pairs of cropped flares, a girl’s allowed to change her mind right?
The thing is the cropped flare can be worn by many, for those of us who feel as though the full flare leaves you feeling like Penny Lane out of Almost Famous, the cropped flare is the new and improved more user friendly option. Pair these babies with a rolled neck sweater, an oversized blazer of even with an asymmetric strappy top (as pictured above on yours truly) and you can’t go wrong. It’s all about finding the right ankle boot to match, btw, elongating the legs is something we ALL would love to do more of!
So never say never and crop it like it’s hot, I for one am happy to eat my words in that department ..
