Future predictions for 2018 Pantone Top Colour Trends … Maldivian Blue. In the last month a considerable chunk of my instagram feed was taken up with images of friends and fashion people frolicking in the balmy tropical waters of the Maldives, and yep you guessed it as the saying goes .. ‘if you can’t beat em, join em’.
White sandy beaches lined with swaying palms, crystal blue water (yes the colour really is as it looks) and cocktails served in fresh coconuts, are all the kind of ingredients that this girl looks for in a getaway.
Knowing that my team and I will be coming into the busiest time of the year, I thought that it was only right that I take a quick getaway to one of my favourite locations with two of my besties for a sneaky surf trip.
Thanks to super babe and long time bestie Miss Penny Lane (seriously best name ever) from Alterior Motif and Miss Lani Buchanan or better known to those that love her Lanibelles, it was a trip filled with way too much laughter, a serious amount of sunburn and never enough lychee mojito’s.
If you haven’t made it to the Maldives yet I seriously think you need to go, if not for the surfing or snorkelling but for the simple fact that in 2018 blue will be your colour baby .. Pantone I hope that you’re listening.. x
