The deal is .. lately we’re all about friendship, sisterhood, partnering with someone that you love or who inspires you, the collaboration. It’s so funny that in the world we live in, we seem to have more friends than ever before, that is on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat .. but are they really friends. I know that not that long ago I was on my own Facebook and realised that there were people appearing on my feed that I couldn’t remember ever meeting. Who are these ‘friends’ that we’ve come to accumulate and is more really more.
So, in the face of the ever-changing meaning of the word friend, we’ve decided to take it back to simplest form. A true friend, someone that you can call at 6am when you’re on the way to the airport and realised that you just broke the zip to your only suitcase. A friend who doesn’t need to comment on every image that you post on social media but will comment when she thinks that you’re not yourself. A friend who you can swap clothes with and not need to ask when she’s going to return the pieces and let’s be honest a friend who you can use the face swap app with and has you crying with laughter.
So sisters unite, celebrate the true friends that mean something to you, the friend that rocks up to your house basically wearing the same outfit. Or the friend who has borrowed something but not yet returned it to your closet .. after all that’s what friends are for right?
