My mum always says ‘cold hands warm heart’. In case you hadn’t guessed it I feel the cold… I’m the girl that you see at the movies wearing shearling and the chic on the plane wearing cashmere (with the occasional addition of a pompom beanie, but who’s taking any notice right?). Always with the best intentions to rug up, I have an unhealthy obsession with the warmer wardrobe pieces. Combining this craving with a need to shop online, this season I teamed up our friends at Avenue 32 to put together some of my favourite ‘chilled’ winter selects, if you’ll pardon the pun.
Statement knits from Bella Freud, textured trousers from Isa Arfen and the ultimate shearling cocoon coat from Dlux, all at the top of my hit list this christmas and in perfect timing for my wintery road trip down the coast of Californ-I-AY. So ladies layer up and prepare for the big chill, maybe this winter we’ll all have warm hands and warm hearts for a change, wouldn’t that ‘cool’ .. xx
