There’s a little romantic in all of us, well that’s why I like to remind my man of anyway. When I met up with this beautiful lady not that long ago, we had our own chat about romance, boys(we hope you’re reading this), clothes and the obvious fact that she is one of Australia’s most recognised actresses. Being the first experience that I’ve had so far photographing a model who also is also a high profile personality, you would think the experience may sound a little on the intimidating side, but the truth couldn’t be further from what you’d expect. The fact is that Miss Jodi Anasta may be one of the nicest and comedically gifted ladies that I’ve worked with so far. Cheeky, witty and with a secret talent for executing some of the best impersonations you’ve ever seen, made for one of the funniest days on the job to date. As Jodi currently holds the title of Myer ambassador and with the objective of capturing one of Myer’s Spring Summer 2016 trends, the “New Romantic”, we escaped the city rat race for that country ‘wind in your hair’ feeling. Soft lace dresses, crisp denims and pinstriped man shirts were only some of my favourite pieces high on the agenda for this self proclaimed ‘under the radar’ romantic. So with summer just around the corner in the Southern Hemisphere it’s time to let you hair out, lace up those denim flares and get ready to bring your romance game on strong. Just one last piece of advice ladies, you don’t necessarily need a man in your life if you’re looking for some romance, just the sun at your back and the wind in your hair and maybe a lacey white number is all that the modern romantic needs ..
If you’re feeling on the romantic side you can shop the trend .. here.

A very special thank you to Jodi for your incredibly adventurous spirit. Additionally a extra special thank you to Sally and Neil from Yandina Station, the most beautiful location we’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. x
