If you’ve only been a reader of Oracle Fox in recent times, you may not have realised that before I started my site I was actually a fine artist.  From a very young age I’ve been  involved in the arts… you know how they say it ‘somethings just run in your blood’.  Being an admirer of art and culture I recently had the pleasure of visiting the “Falling to Earth” exhibition by the incredible contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang.  When you walk into these clean white spaces in Australia’s GOMA Art Gallery it’s very very quiet and a plaque on the wall asks the viewer to respect this peace.  The only sound is of tiny water droplets that intermittently fall from the ceiling into the crystal blue pool, symbolic of our relationships between Earth and each other, it’s truly mesmerising.

Hopefully at some point you have the chance to view this exhibition in real life, where else would you get the chance to share the room with leopards, polar bears and tigers.. and don’t worry all of the animals are replicas.. as Hikaru once said “sometimes fake is more real than the real thing” .. xx
