In a former life I”m sure that I was a boy. Don’t get me wrong I love my X chromosomes but I did spend most of my childhood at the BMX track with best friends James, Chad and Geoff. I think this has something to do with the fact that I just don’t ever really buy skirts unless they’re speaking to my guy side. With an obsession towards quilting, leather and hardware at the moment this skirt didn’t just speak it screamed. Worn with a ode to Pheobe tee and the trusty bad hair day leather cap can make any tomboy look somewhat like a lady..

DVF Island Hop

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted a photo diary. What better way to break the drought than with a collection of photos from the tropical paradise that is the Great Barrier Reef. Just over a week ago I island hopped it to the spectacular Hayman Island for the unveiling of Diane Von Furstenburg’s personally designed penthouse. Amongst the coconut groves and between beach combing and too many pancakes I was lucky enough to spend a little time with Diane. As one of the coolest, most influential and inspirational women in the world of fashion I also snuck in a request for Diane to write a message to all of the Oracle Fox readers. In the spirit of island life I put Diane’s message in a bottle you can read on to see what happened next..
