We love the new guard at team OF. The designers who are doing their own thing and making a mark on the industry, with a clear and concise voice of what girls like us want. This season marked my 3rd attendance at a DROMe show and I can safely say that it did not disappoint.
With a dreamy gelato colour palette that left the observer salivating for a long warm summer, this collection may be one of my favourites to date. Designer and Creative Director Marianna Rosati has a natural flair for taking soft leathery fabrications and spinning them into the kind of ensembles that we could only dream of. Boxy man-style duck egg blue blazers, carefully illustrated mythical underwater prints and bags that looked like something pretty and delicate plucked straight from the sea bed were just a few of my favourite details.
With the perfect balance between masculine silhouettes and sweet as sugar colour combinations, this collection will suit every girl whether she’s always dreamt of being a mermaid or not.. x
