As I walked through an enormous translucent shower curtain, the other side did not resemble the inside of my shower at all, but the Acne Studios Spring 2018 runway show. As the music began and the shower curtain rose I had a sudden feeling I was about to be taken on a journey of Saturday Night Fever.
Traditional pinstripes were given the Acne Studios disco treatment, with fine strands of metal fringing swinging as the models marched. Satin suiting in shades of lime and mint green brought about feelings of secondhand nostalgia, taking me right back to the Tony Manero days.
So thank you Acne for providing a way to whisk the 9-5 dressing off into the night. xx
