They call it a bluebird day right? When there’s not a cloud in the sky and sun shines far beyond the horizon or as far as the eye can see.
It’s cold where I live right now but this week we’ve had a whole week of bluebird days in a row and even though it may be winter, it is ridiculously glorious.
Two days ago I had an editing deadline hanging over me like a cloud, 249 unanswered emails and a list of things-to-do as long as a Balenciaga runway. So when things get a little crazy the farm girl in me (yes I actually grew up on a farm) likes to get out in nature for a breather, it’s a way I guess to refuel the creativity (well that’s what I’m going to call it anyway).
To say that I have an obsession for plaid right now is an understatement let’s be candid. But when you combine my love of the plaid with my love of wide open spaces, you’ll start to see that there’s another side of me for sure.
So with this perfect plaid number from Joseph and an armful of MATCHESFASHION.COM this girl quietly lost her mind frolicking in fields of dry grassy goodness.
What better way to get the creative juices rolling than to get out into nature on a sunny day and I guess that you may as well say, there’s nothing wrong with stepping back from behind the computer screen for a little plaid behaviour… xx
