I think this must be what happens when work and home life combine in the best possible way…
Located in North East London, in what was once an old shoe factory, lies the live-work space of designers Max Lamb and Gemma Holt. The combined workshop, and living space is not only an aesthetic and self confessed, artist lover’s dream come true, but a perfectly curated space that showcases the balance between a seemingly simple structural design and an abundance of Lamb and Holt’s own works and furnishings, studio pottery, brass pieces and delicate art.
While still providing the necessary inspiration for two successful designers, the space is as much a creative workshop as it is an warm and inviting home. I think I finally understand the old woman who lived in a shoe, she must have had very good taste.. x
