The naturally forming caves and niches were traditionally once used as temporary homes to farmers and mermen, before being transformed into a luxury abode by the architects at Ummo Estudio.
The stark contrast between the clean white walls, polished concrete floor and a natural, neutral colour palette and finishing creates a sense of fluidity, starting an important dialogue between the existing and new structures.
The impeccable use of texture within the furnishing and finishes perfectly compliments the overhanging and surrounding roughness. Well, it seems as thought being stuck between a rock and a hard place ain’t such abad thing after all… x
