Lucky for us, Christmas came around this year with perfect timing for Sunday Sanctuary… A sure sign that this post must be read with very full bellies and a holiday themed cocktail in hand. Although the festive season is one of my favourite times, it’s not one that I often associate with beautiful interiors. Finding the right colour palette and decorations can prove difficult amongst the bright red and green combos, fluffy, sparkly tinsel and an abundance of over the top santa and reindeer figurines.
However, this small apartment has mastered the delicate balance of holiday cheer and decorative styling, with a beautiful natural palette and distinctive Scandinavian styling. December greenery is a must and taking note from this space, I think next year I’ll be mixing my Christmas tree with natural wood and neutral linen, along with the perfect black table setting for feasting time. Ladies and gents, let’s grab some eggnog, begin eating some leftovers and celebrate finding the perfect pulled back festive interior.
