There are many who believe that the Jielde lamp belongs in the ‘cult’ furniture category… And I have to say, I’m definitely one of those people. Since production of this piece began in the 1950’s, this lamp has been a staple in style forward interiors across the globe. Designed by Jean-Louis Domecq as a way to easily move light to assist with his work as a mechanic, the Jielde quickly moved from the functional to the must have and has been at the top of wish lists ever since.
I didn’t think I’d ever say this, but I think this is one cult I’m glad to belong to.. x
