Sometimes it’s not what you put into something but it’s what you take out.  The cut-out trend and I have been on and off again lovers, dancing the game of are we meant to be together or are we better off calling it quits until further notice.

However, in recent times thanks to the likes of inspo from designers such as Erdem, Alexander Wang and the king of cut himself Mr Christopher Kane, my love of the slashy geometric gash has been reignited, the romance re-ignited, cupids bow has struck again.

With the fresh approach of layering the cut-out anything feels possible, your options are limitless, think cut-outs in winter layered over a turtle necks .. if you catch my drift.  So don’t diss those lacerated wardrobe relics, reinvent your love affair with a fresh ‘joie de vivre’ .. sometimes love deserves a second chance .. no?
