Bonjour, hello and how do you do! From the banks of the River Siene I bid you a warm welcome and I’m sorry that I haven’t personally touched based in a little while. You see .. it’s true what they say about Paris, it’s certainly a place where you can loose yourself, just be sure that it’s not in the heart of boutique heaven Avenue Montaigne. Although the reason for my travels has been Paris Fashion Week, and the schedule has been nothing but fierce, there is no better place to set up office than a city filled with so much inspiration and culture. With all of this in mind it can become quite transparent that one must step up the stakes a notch from the usual Queensland warm weather attire and attempt to fit the bill (that is if one can still fit into anything at all due to the daily visits to the french pastries!). On the way to Kym Ellery’s show wearing of course Kym Ellery, and not quite running late thanks to the timepiece magic of Larsson & Jennings, there was a window of opportunity to bask in the Parisian sunlight and take in the beautiful Pont Alexandre III bridge. I suppose that you could say time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time at all..
