We all know the saying “When in Rome…” well I’m wondering if we can make an adjustment, what do you think of “When in Paris..” ? The only reason I ask is that it seems as though all common sense supposedly evaporates when I touch down in the capitol of fashion and let’s be honest specifically Celine. Upon a recent trip to Paree, my feet (I’m going to blame them and not me) took me into a Celine store where they whispered loudly in my ear that this was the reason we were in Paris, and not Fashion Week after all. Oddly enough it seems that Rachel Zoe and Jessica Alba’s feet had told them the same story as they sat beside me on those deconstructed wooden boxes covered in lambs skins(you know the ones) and preceded to also test drive Pheobe’s latest SS 14 footwear offerings. The verdict was unanimous and I won’t name names but it wasn’t my fault completely as to why those feet left the store no longer in New Balance sneakers but vertiginous trapezium mules.. I suppose if you can’t beat em you have to join em.. x
