When the going gets tough the tough go to Byron Bay. I don’t know how it could be possible but this year seems to have gone faster than any year before and it was time to make a run for it. With the end of the year not nearly close enough in site, I recently decided to take two of my closest friends Miss Penny Lane, my long time surfing buddy and owner of one of my favourite local retail haunts Alterior Motif, and the beautiful Miss Madelyne Wray, close friend and Oracle Fox photographer extraordinaire, to the magical Rae’s On Watego’s.
Now if you don’t already know about Rae’s it’s about time you did. Secret getaway to models and rock stars alike, it’s like a palatial white nirvana by the sea. Thanks to the beautiful hostess with the mostess Marionne and her incredible hospitality, my favourite girls and I were able to brush off the worries of the outside world along with most of our unnecessary additional clothing ..let’s be honest this is Byron Bay after all! With a bronzier bronzed bod and saltier sea salt hair, my ladies and I were able to return to reality better than before. So this summer when the going gets too much I might see you at Rae’s, bring your sunnies, hat and towel and just remember clothing optional …
