Conversations With Stevie ..

Posted on April 12th, 2013

When you think about meeting up with someone like Stevie Dance the first word that I can think of is iconic.   Well, I'm pretty sure that after spending a morning with her relaxing and laughing over travel stories and fashion faux pas that Stevie would shy away from  the suggestion but iconic doesn't come close to summing her up.  One of the most talented stylists, photographers and visionaries Australia's ever exported Stevie's legendary creativity has recently brought her back to the land of Oz to collaborate on her personal favourite selection of radness for Topshop Australia.  While she was here I managed to wrangle Stevie into answering some fun questions and discuss all things 'socks and sandals' and more to get you in the mood for her instore edit ... On a good day I ...  swim  I collect ... music  Autumn/Winter 2013 colour ... denim  3 things that you take with you everywhere ... Incense, phone, vitamins  If I were a guy ... I'd listen to rap  Home is ... my folks  Your favourite thing that's Blue ... detox tea  Socks and Sandals are ... awesome   I'd sell my soul for ...  motown   Collaborating for Topshop was ... brilliant  Rainbows or Waterfalls ... waterfalls!   Nothing compares to ... The Them   Hanging out with Oracle Fox was ... relaxing   My idea of heaven is ... the ocean Stevie's edit for Topshop Australia is available in store until the 15th of April .. Shirt , tees, bomber and shorts featured on Stevie and myself all available at Topshop photography and conversation: Amanda Shadforth

Winston Wolfe SS 2014

Posted on April 4th, 2013

When you enter a room through an archway of living orchards you know it's going to be a good night.  On Tuesday night I had the pleasure of joining an intimate get together to celebrate designer Kristie Kahler's latest work photographed on super babe(and the sweetest German export yet) Miriam Adler by photographer Pierre Toussaint.  Just when a girl thought that she probably needed to pull back on the leather Winston Wolfe moved the goal posts ... game on I say ..
