As a seven year old I was mortified when my mother happily presented a home sewn matching twin set that she’d painstakingly stitched together one school holiday season.  You see matchy matchy had never really been my thing, the thought of looking too co-ordinated undermining any nonchalant cool factor that this school aged kid was trying to achieve.

Fast forward a millennium or two and you’ll find more than one double ensemble outfit in my wardrobe, the secret being in keeping the combo casual and slightly masculine.  Co-ordinated suiting can be the coolest option when it comes to the double up, and my personal thoughts here is that nothing could be less girlier than a sartorial sister in a suit, if you catch my drift ..
